Wick bot is banning DM Disabler as soon as I try to add it to my server. How can I fix this?

This issue occurs because Wick treats new bots like DM Disabler with caution. Fortunately, there’s a workaround:
  1. Disable the joingate: w!jg 1a ?off
  2. Invite the DM Disabler bot to your server
  3. Re-enable the joingate: w!jg 1a ?on
After this, the bot should remain in your server without issues.

I’ve added some keywords to my blocked list, but Hashbot is not banning bad actors!

If Hashbot isn’t acting as expected, check the following:
  1. Role position — the Hashbot role must be above the roles of users it should moderate (Server Settings > Roles)
  2. Pause status — make sure Hashbot isn’t paused (/settings status)
  3. Allowlist conflicts — check that the user isn’t allowlisted or in a manager role
  4. Filter syntax — verify your filter matches the name (/name-filters test <name>)
  5. Fuzzy Mode — enable it if scammers are using Unicode variants (Premium)

Can I use Hashbot on multiple servers?

Yes. The number of servers depends on your subscription plan — Essential and Advanced support up to 3 servers, Lifetime supports up to 10. Activate on each server individually using /subscription activate or the Dashboard settings page.

Does Hashbot work alongside other moderation bots?

Yes. Hashbot is designed to complement existing moderation tools. To avoid conflicts:
  • Add Hashbot to any trusted bot allowlists maintained by other bots (e.g., Wick, Beemo)
  • Position the Hashbot role above other bot roles in your role hierarchy
  • Avoid overlapping triggers (e.g., two bots both banning on join)
See Hashbot Role & Other Bots for detailed guidance.

How do I manage my subscription?

  • View status: /subscription info or check the Dashboard settings page
  • Activate: /subscription activate email:you@example.com or via the Dashboard
  • Manage billing: Visit the billing portal to update payment, change plans, or cancel
  • Cancel: Log in at hashbot.com and choose the cancellation option
Subscriptions are non-refundable. See our Terms of Service for details.

Hashbot isn’t responding to my commands

If Hashbot doesn’t respond to slash commands:
  1. Check permissions — Hashbot needs “Use Application Commands” permission in the channel
  2. Verify the bot is online — run /ping in any channel
  3. Check your role — most management commands require a Manager role or Administrator permission
  4. Try the Dashboarddashboard.hashbot.com provides the same functionality without slash commands
If the bot appears offline, check our Discord for any service announcements.
